Kitekite Falls is a popular waterfall just 40km West of Auckland, New Zealand near Piha Beach. It requires a 25 minute walk through the rainforest from the carpark at the end of Glenesk Road. Though, it's a very picturesque spot to frolic in after a nice walk, be mindful of the New Zealand long fin eels, who like to hang out at the base of the waterfall.
On the walk over to the Fall, there's a charming and quiet little stream you can relax next to and ponder over the meaning of life.
If you're lucky and observant you may spot a rare New Zealand Green Pigeon also known as a wood pigeon, which the Māori call Kererū, Kūkupa or Kūkū.
Don't forget to take photos once you arrive at the Falls :)
